Gordon:

Don't know where you got your information, but Crocker Communications has
literally thousands of customers that have DSL and they are getting a lot
higher speeds than you have indicated here.

If your location is within 8,000 feet of the Central Office, you can get
7.1Mbs incoming traffic and 768k outgoing (that's over a mile away.

At the perimiter (18,000 feet) Crocker gets speeds of 768k incoming traffic.

It works. They have the customers to prove it.
