The short answer is that if the MS-Windows 11 upgrade check says you can't upgrade to MS-Windows 11, you can upgrade. You have these options: 1) toss the machine(s) in a dumpster and buy *new* machine(s). I know this is probably not want you want to do, esp. if the machine(s) are in good working order and are not about to die. And new machines are not going to provide *noticable* improvements in performance. 2) continue to run MS-Windows 10 past September. The machines should continue to run just fine. You won't get updates (esp. security updates). There are some third party options that might midigate things some. I believe M$ offers *some* paid support options, mainly for business and educational organizations. 3) Install Linux on the machine(s). Linux should cleanly install on any machine running MS-Windows 10. And almost any machine too old to run MS-Windows 11 is very much likely to have hardware that is fully supported by a modern version of Linux. Linux is fully secure and you will be able to get all bug and security updates until the machine(s) totally "die" of "old age" -- eg as long as the hardware lasts. There are modern Linux distros that are "confortable" for long time MS-Windows users. (There are some techy "hacks" to bypass the MS-Windows 11 upgrade checks that allow you to upgrade unsupported hardware. But these are hacks...)
