I've been watching the various Digital equityefforts locally - some of which has been sponsored by the FRCOG, the person I know best in that group is Jessica Atwood <JAtwood at frcog.org> I see activities in that field in Greenfield and others, though not Noho. Frankly I think is a hot topic for HT - esp as we all are pushing 'older' In GF, it is especially interesting since we have a local Internet provider (Gcet) and (as per a previous recent post) I am working on such also. Here are some notes of my own: https://www.rizbang.com/2020/04/my-turn-the-internet-is-not-unlimited/ https://www.greenfieldsfuture.org/2018/03/gcet-and-tv-alternatives/ On looking I see both a bit old and due for updates. Also, my long term answer on the TV side has been Tivo then switched to Plex SO lets keep this discussion going and I'll keep a tally of notes of interest Rich On 8/2/2024 3:25 PM, Wendy Foxmyn via Hidden-discuss wrote: > I, and several older people I know, are seeking advice about options > for home technology (internet, phone, television, streaming services, > equipment, etc.) that meets our needs and interests.
