Hi folks,

Is there someone who is good at using Zoom who can give me a few minutes of
their time? I have been attending Zoom meetings successfully for quite a
while, but I just joined a group where last night at my first meeting I
could not for the life of me get on using video or even calling in by
phone. I ended up calling her on her phone, and attending via speakerphone,
kinda crazy. The host is not Zoom-savvy, so she isn't a good person to ask.
It's on me to figure this out.

I got as far as signing in to my Zoom account, entering the meeting ID,
then passcode, but Zoom said the meeting had not started yet. But, five
other folks were in the meeting already. This is the first time I have
encountered this. And as someone who does not have a paid Zoom account
myself, I can't vouch for what happens at the host's end.
