Hey hidden folks, I have a customer who used to be on a different web platform and moved to mine in July. For some reason, Google won't let go of the old indexes. I'm using Search Console, seeing the list of failed indexed pages, and then submitting a request for permanent removal. Yet, they persist. Anyone ever have this issue in the past? Here are the headers for a typical missing page: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found Cache-Control: no-cache Pragma: no-cache Content-Type: text/html;charset=UTF-8 Expires: Wed, 01 Nov 2023 16:57:19 EDP Server: Microsoft-IIS/10.0 Set-Cookie: JSESSIONID=D2D9EDA73075DDAE3EA56E0F965CC934; Path=/; HttpOnly X-Frame-Options: deny X-Powered-By: RocketFusion.com X-AspNet-Version: 4.0.30319 X-Powered-By: ASP.NET Date: Wed, 01 Nov 2023 20:57:12 GMT Content-Length: 20800 Thanks, Mik -- Mik Muller, president Montague WebWorks 20 River Street, Greenfield, MA 413-320-5336 http://MontagueWebWorks.com Powered by ROCKETFUSION -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
