[Hidden-tech] Website Domain Question

actually not much to it -- an extra step or so.

you need to transfer domains to a new registrar - your new registrar 
will request the domain from the old registrar (GoDaddy is one)

GoDaddy will provide a transfer approval code - although knowing them, 
it is well hidden menu option
The transfer takes a few days to process, and a week or so to be full 
effective.

In the meantime, add the A/Cname records to the DNS provided by the new 
registrar - or just define the DNS master as the GoDaddy DNS server
Depends on what your new registrar provides and if GoDaddy continues to 
provide DNS service on the web site.
Also if there is Email service - a MX record
