Thanks, Mik, Noah, Viet, and Stephen, I'm going with Noah's side suggestion of using bit.ly or one of its competitors--and that way the receiving org doesn't have to do any tracking at all. Simple and elegant, and no one can strip out the referrer code as they can with a traditional affiliate link (which, again, this is not).
