Hi folks,


I would like to request any guidance and leads you can provide to my
friend, Rythea, for her daughter’s new modeling career.  Here is Rythea's
request in her own words. Please reply directly to her email at

*“My 10 year old daughter is looking to get into modeling and is especially
interested in fashion modeling. We live in Western, MA and would love to
start locally. Looking for leads, suggestions of reputable agencies nearby,
or local stores and/or photographers that need a child model. For those
that worry, I will always be present for any jobs that my child undertakes
and do serious due-diligence before committing to anything. I am a very
responsible and protective Mom! My daughter is very experienced with being
photographed because she’s involved in social media regularly and is
comfortable in front of the camera so far.”*


I have art directed photo shoots for which I hired child models (and many
adults) back 20+ years ago, but am now out of the loop, so I lean on other
folks for more up-to-date guidance for Rythea. I suggested she contact
Family Fun magazine, which used to be in downtown Northampton, but alas, it
looks like they are owned by a publisher out of New York City these days?
Do they do any local hiring of talent?
