[Hidden-tech] WordPress login issues

Already added a new user, and they still can’t log into the site from that computer with the new ID.

CAN log in from a different computer.

I’m working with the host company and looking into potential problems with a plugin – if I am able to resolve, will post the solution so others can benefit.

Question - can you log in with a different account on that computer, and can you log in with that account on a different computer?

I apologize, I should have clarified even further – they cleared the browser cache, AND tried with different browsers on that computer. No go.

Thanks for your input, Sam!

That sounds like a browser cache issue, I would either have them clear the browser cache or try with a different browser.

I have a client who is – suddenly, within the past two weeks while I was on vacation -- unable to log into WordPress from one specific computer (unfortunately, the computer that they do most of their work on).

They can log in from their laptop, and from other computers within the organization, but not their own computer.

This is not my area of expertise, so I’m doing a bunch of research in order to help them (so far I’ve updated plugins and installed several patches on the back end, checked the allowed list, and am about to deactivate plugins to see if one of them is causing a problem – next up, deactivating the theme)….
…but if anyone has ideas or immediately knows what the issue might be, I’m all ears!

Thank you!!
