[Hidden-tech] Power Supplies for Emergencies (PC and home devices)

Generally, I rely on my UPS on the main computer and the one on my network
stack to keep going for a couple hours...... then I fall back to the solar
rig if needed.

The problem is that, without fail, if I'm without power for any length of
time, comcast loses power before I do... so, it's a moot point. If the
outage is widespread, your cell backup provider may also lose backup at a
certain point as well.

If your goal is to have internet, having battery backup that's better than
your ISP(s) is not helpful. If your goal is to keep your furnace and
your fridge running, that's a whole other matter, and a whole other level
of storage capacity.
