[Hidden-tech] Social Media for HT

Hello Hidden-Techies
I am weighing on the “it ain’t broke” side of this discussion.
I use facebook to keep up with my family and friends but am afraid that if Hidden Tech migrated to FB or any of the social media platforms it would get lost and watered down.
I think that one of the most important factors in H-T's usefulness and longevity is that we have our own moderator — thank you Rich for all your time and dedication. If we were to migrate to another platform we might be subject to alternate moderators and standards which could endanger the enduring value and usefulness of this unique list.
There are so many ways to sort in-coming e-mail if anyone feels the messages need to be managed, I personally don’t see why we would want to migrate anywhere.
I read almost every message that comes through, even ones that are beyond my technical expertise and I have no idea what they are talking about. I usually learn something even if I haven’t asked the question or made the request.
It is my understanding that this list was originally created to create community and networking among small and home-based businesses. For me, that community still exists and, when the list is used properly, there is lots of honest and productive networking going on. I may be missing something but I don’t see this happening elsewhere.
I don’t usually find myself standing on the conservative side of issues but I am really hoping that there are no significant changes made to this wonderful list.
	Thanks (as always) for listening!
	Lynne
