I wonder if anyone on this list has read the Asimov novel "The Naked Sun". It features a planet where the *human* residents rarely/never ever meet in person. Each *human* lives / works alone on a huge "estate" populated by thousands of robots and humans only ever meet using a super high tech / 3D version of something like Zoom.... (Somehow, despite virtually no pysical human interaction and with all of the robots under the 3 Laws, someone gets murdered so they have to import a detective from Earth to solve the crime...)
