[Hidden-tech] A Business Idea: a Local Borrowing Exchange

What you are proposing is basically a 'tool bank' and has been farily
developed in a number of places.
I collected a few reference at:
http://www.hidden-tech.net/project/toolbanks/
I'd especially note that the idea has  be more developed beyond just a
name, it's been trademarked and there is a supporting non-profile

It's a topic of interest I've been looking at for some time, esp with
the (literals) tons of useful items stacked in people's garages, I know
I've got a bunch.

A question in my mind relates to where they are stored and how
maintained, esp the range from who cares to need maintained and very
valuable.

If anyone is seriously interested, I'd be.

I did see Home Depot helped fund, what Toolbanks in Atlanta, developed
into Toolbanks USA non-profit: http://www.toolbank.org/
also if there is really a project that fits NextDoor, I actually know
some of the VC funders and would be interested in taking to them about it.

A few related topics I'll post separately.

( for those of interest, I'll be adding more resources of interest at:
