Hi Kimo, thanks for your reply,

I am having difficulty understanding your perspective. Who are you
advocating for? Designers, or companies who find it acceptable to not
compensate designers for their time when entering (and not winning)
contests?

Paying $5/hour for design work sure sucks, for almost everyone, but at
least they're being compensated for their time.
