[Hidden-tech] Questionable Update-Your-Flash browser warnings

Hi Shel, Flash for Chrome is bundled within it, so you don't need to
update it separately and that message is probably a scam. Additionally, if
you have Flash installed for Safari and/or Firefox (and I advise against
it), then it would need to receive updates from directly from Adobe. You
can turn on the auto update option from the Flash preference pane and also
check updates there, but to reiterate, I suggest uninstalling the
standalone Flash and using Chrome for the rare site that still uses Flash
in 2019.

Download the uninstaller from Adobe:
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html

Avast antivirus for Mac: https://www.avast.com/en-us/for-mac
Avast will catch most traditional viruses but performs poorly for PuPs
(potentially wanted programs, such as "cleaners") and browser hijacks.
