[Hidden-tech] Questionable Update-Your-Flash browser warnings

I have had malicious update messages from Flash for a while. Do not click on the update button. Run Malware Bytes, or whatever similar protection you have to see if you have been infected, get rid of the malware. Then shut your computer down and reboot. Go to the adobe website to update your flash then shut down, reboot again.
Flash does need to be updated sometimes but never trust or download anything flash-related except what is actually on the adobe website.

Note: the first time this happened to me, and it was clear I had been hacked, I shut my computer down and called Apple. They called me back in about 3 minutes and talked me through it for free. They gave me a case number I could reactivate for free if the bogus flash comes up again — which it does once in a while but now I know what to do about it. Flash is a pain in you know where, and it shouldnt be that easy to hack, I hope adobe is working on that vulnerability. Good luck!
