[Hidden-tech] Mentoring + Arts in the Valley

*Dear Hidden-Techers,*

*Piti Theatre is launching two new initiatives around “mentoring” in which
you might be interested.*

*1. Valley Arts Mentors (VAM) is an idea in the incubation stage for a
network for arts organizations in the Valley who do mentoring/teaching
artist work. The network would also serve “non-arts” organizations and
businesses by facilitating internship and similar opportunities in a wide
variety of fields (including “tech”) for young people who had received some
arts-based training. More info is available here:

*If this sounds worthwhile to you and is something you know you would like
to learn more about or hope comes to fruition, we are collecting a list of
“interested businesses” to include in our search for implementation funding

*2. Valley Playwright Mentoring is a (different) new program Piti Theatre
is launching for teens where they develop a performance based on stories
