If you have AT&T there is a Visual Voicemail app:

.My dad uses it, but I don't know how good it is.I think there is a 
comparable feature for Verizon and several third party apps 
(https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/best-visual-voicemail-apps-android/ ). 
You could also find a 3.5mm male-male audio cable and attach it to the 
audio in on your phone and your laptop or desktop and then use recording 
application to record you playing it.Somewhat of a hack, but is should work.
