I found GIMP glitchy and hard to use. The same with Scribd.

As of High Sierra, MacOS uses a new case sensitive file system called APFS. So you can’t just reinstall an older OS because your hard drive has been reformatted to APFS.

I am considering "downgrading" to a previous operating system so that I can continue to use these programs without re-buying them or starting a monthly subscription. Does anyone have experience with this or have a recommendation for which OS to revert back to? Other workarounds? Our version of indesign is CS4 (2009) and works fine for our needs.
