[Hidden-tech] Mac purchasing advice, please

Replace the HD in that old Mac. I just gave up a 2013 MacBook Pro and got a
2018 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.

Long story short, the touch bar is a bit of a gimmick, I end up having to
tap and swipe 3-5 times for things that were normally not so hard to get.
It was more expensive, and I had to buy a bunch of dongles to use my
regular devices that are USB.

MacOS is buggier than it's ever been, and the myth that Mac's don't get
viruses has long been disproven. I really wish I had pulled the trigger on
a Surface Book. If I'm going to have a less than stellar OS, I'd at least
have some ports and would have spent about $500 less, and the Surface Book
is a pretty damn nice looking laptop.

Yeah, I'm a little salty on Apple these days :)
