Hi HTers, I'm embroiled in consequences of a speeding SUV totaling my car driven two Fridays ago by an employee of my firm. No serious injuries. Fault of the SUV but rigid laws require my paying for a lawyer for both of us to not take the insurance hits. MA RMV laws also prevent registration of the near-mint 1995 Subaru Legacy Wagon LS replacement I bought in CT yesterday--title law differences between states re 21+ year old cars. The CT dealer didn’t need previous titles or other documents, yet MA does need them. Literally can’t drive the car legally. Anyone have experience with such a rare matter? Also, my totaled car is essentially the same (1998 Subaru Legacy Wagon L), so I’ll be parting it out for my new car. Curious if you know anyone interested in doing this work on my property here in Greenfield. Also, if you have a compatible car and need parts, let me know. I’ll probably have a local shop do the parting out, but thought I’d see if I can find an individual interested in good fair pay for the work.
