Hi HTers, On behalf of a client in the Swiss watch business, I seek a part-time Social Media Associate with both experience and social/emotional intelligence to manage US-centric content across multiple platforms--likely Facebook, Twitter, blog, Pinterest, Snapchat, and perhaps others--weekly. The job would average 10 hours per week, with some surges in work when, for example, the client flies you to a publicity event or a celebrity endorsement, or has you work with the team in their stunning office on the ocean at Coconut Grove, Florida. Travel, maybe to the Swiss office too, will be infrequent, but really fun, and of course all expenses paid. The client designs, manufactures, and sells via its website bold new concepts in Swiss watches. The flashy website, www.Bomberg.ch <http://www.bomberg.ch/>, will be replaced in mid-August but gives you the idea: tattoos, steampunk avant garde, Harley riders, MMA fighters, and plenty of thus inspired normal-ish folk are among the target markets. The client is in the process of re-branding, re-designing, and laying out strategy. You will need to be able to execute on that strategy in a consistent manner. You will also coordinate with a chosen agency that manages all paid social advertising. A consummate social media strategist will give you training and support in the first few months. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Start time is flexible, but not before 8/1. The position will continue for the foreseeable future.
