Job Description

Seeking office accounting specialist for busy custom software firm. This position is located on­site in Shelburne Falls, MA. Part­time: 20­ to 30 hours per week (full time also possible for right candidate).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Office support responsibilities include:

- Manage vendor contracts and accounts
- Assist with' employee expense reimbursements
- Assist team with Vendor accounts ­­ establishing new accounts,
troubleshooting issues, handling billing
- Light HR support ­­ for new and existing staff
- General office support

Bookkeeping responsibilities include:

- QuickBooks for Mac (or Windows)
- Intuit Payroll
- Accounts Payable
- Manage accounts receivable on small customer base
- Manage invoices and receipts
- Weekly billing
- Taxes
- Reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

- 2 years office support and direct accounting experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to thoroughly document tasks and solutions
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks
