[Hidden-tech] iPhone travel questions for Ireland

Not helpful in this case, I realize, but this is precisely why I left ATT and went to Sprint (T-Mobile even better, I hear) at my last phone purchase: I am traveling in India now and I have free texting worldwide, free data (though at slow-ish speed), and $0.20/minute calling anywhere in the world. MUCH better than when it cost me $30 to get a month of texting and $1/min calls even when just going to Canada!
