[Hidden-tech] Why no coworking spaces in Amherst?

Thanks all for the responses so far.

I've heard about cultivate/nest and its seems interesting but not as full
service as what I'm looking for. I've heard from a few others who also
share that sentiment. It seems great as a casual coworking spot, an
alternative to a half day spent at a coffee shop. The childcare option is
attractive though I've got that base covered at the moment. Matthew J. the
space is in Hadley somewhere on Route 9. I spent 20 minutes looking for an
address on the website but couldn't find one.

What I'd love to see in Amherst (or close by) is something a lot like
ClickWorkspace in Northampton. A place with options such as dedicated desks
and more permanent office space along side more transient work spaces.
Shared spaces for meetings and collaboration but also places where folks
can take a phone or video call without annoying everyone else. I'm on the
phone or on video conferences a lot for my job, so I'm looking for a space
where I can shut a door to avoid making too much noise but keep it open
most of the time to engage with others. I think Click's new location does
all of these things, I'm just not up for the commute from Pelham and the
constant meter feeding. What Click is doing is a major undertaking but
maybe a developer in Amherst could take something like this on? Otherwise a
DIY, scaled down approach could work. I've gotten a few signs of interest
from folks on this list so far. Interested to hear what others have to say.
