Search for "Hiren's Boot CD"
This is a free program that will allow you to reset the passwords to no password.
You can create a boot CD or a Boot USB drive.
Feel free to call me and I can explain if you need any help.

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone here has good advice... To wit:

I have an elderly client who can't remember (didn't realize he was
setting) his Windows 10 login password. Since that computer is the only machine on which he has email, and he can't remember that password, and he's moved so the old telephone numbers are gone - MS won't/can't let us reset it. : (

There MUST be a way to get into the computer!  I've found this: 
http://www.isumsoft.com/windows-10/how-to-reset-windows-10-forgotten-password-with-usb.html. 
And will try, but thought to ask this group if anyone knows a different or better way.
