[Hidden-tech] external HD repair

well I went to back up today and the connection to the HD (the opposite end of the USB) wasn’t going into the HD and then I saw that the female connector in the HD was completely loose and now literally IN the HD rattling around. It’s a WD HD with what looks like no screws or way to get in there! Any ideas folks? I tried to pry off one of the rubber legs/pads because someone said the screws might be under there, but they don’t seem pry-able so I don’t think there is anything there. The unit is like a box with a cover if that makes sense….like there is one piece with an outer piece that slides into place sealing it shut all the way around...
