I'm a lawyer who takes credit cards for both payments and trust account deposits. I use a company called "Lawpay" which has been vetted by my state and national bar associations; I trust them to handle the credit card transactions appropriately and I never keep the credit card numbers on my system. They are pretty affordable. They are a subsidiary of a company called Affinipay, which offers payment processing to non-lawyer associations. I know this sounds like an ad, but I have no financial stake in any of this, just sharing. Affinipay.com is the website. Good luck. Kristi A.
