$500/month will get you way more than a T1. You can pay to have the MBI Middle mile extended to your house. If the fiber goes past your house already it will be $9-15k to build the fiber in. Then you can order an MBI product an standard pricing.
You can also spread the install cost over 36 months. $500/month would probably get you 20mbps over MBI, including the construction costs (if the fiber is on your street already).
You can download a GoogleEarth KML file of the MBI network, it will show you all the fiber routers.
