The Distance Education Developer works with other members of the Total Education team to create online learning materials for Fazzi and its clients. This position will be required to analyze existing, written content and transfer it to an online learning format. The developer will need to use graphics, videos, animations and learning interactions to enhance the quality of the online learning presentations.

The ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts and team members through course creation is necessary.

A Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology/Media, Training and Development or a relevant field in instructional design, instructional technology or a related area is preferred.  In addition, 3 - 5 years of prior experience as well as an in-depth understanding and skill with current online technologies including learning management systems, common content authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, media creation and editing software such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop, formatting tools, web databases, basic desktop software including word, excel, power point, graphing, calendaring and project management tools. The successful candidate must be willing to work within an entrepreneurial and evolving environment independently as well as collaboratively.
