[Hidden-tech] Any WooCommerce experts out there?

Thanks for the shoutout Rob! You're right that I'm pretty busy right now,
so I didn't speak up when I saw this. I do have some experience with
woocommerce, and a product is at it's core just a fancy custom post type,
so no reason it shouldn't respond as normal to the usual WordPress tools. I
would be very surprised if between the WordPress functions add_image_size (
https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size) and
get_the_post_thumbnail (
https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_the_post_thumbnail) you
couldn't get it working as desired.

Remember that simply using add_image_size does not automatically create the
new image size for all currently existing images on the site, only for
newly uploaded images. I've had good results with the Regenerate Thumbnails
plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/) for creating
new thumbnails after adding a new image size. All the usual advice around
backing things up before doing anything like this of course applies.
