[Hidden-tech] JOB: Tech Foundry Volunteer Instructor

Tech Foundry is currently looking for IT professionals to teach classes on specific technical skills to our incoming cohort of recent high school graduates! Our mission at Tech Foundry is to make Springfield, Massachusetts, a city with a rich history that has recently fallen on tough economic times, one of the top ten tech cities in America. Tech Foundry uses an innovative combination of self-directed learning and direct employer-to-potential-employee contact in order to complete our mission by creating a surplus of highly trained technical employees. We connect with a multitude of employer partners who help us develop our curriculum so that we are only teaching the skills being sought in the field.

Our curriculum covers a large range of skills, including programming, network security, data analysis, and more. We are currently looking for IT professionals, graduate students, or hobbyists in the area who would be interested in volunteering to teach classes to our incoming cohort. Classes typically run between an hour and 90 minutes and we are looking for volunteers to teach anywhere from one session to multiple sessions throughout the summer.
