Make sure you're using a legitimate Adblocker. I personally use Adblock Plus, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-plus/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb?hl=en-US You should be able to rule out the cause by process of elimination. If the ad blocker you have is from a reputable source, then I'd try disabling the other one first. Also, take a look in the reviews for either extension to see if others are reporting similar behavior. There's also a chance that it's a system-level malware infection.
