[Hidden-tech] new odd MAC Mail behavior

That count represents the number of "unread" messages in that particular folder.

So.... it's likely that some messages from another folder were accidentally moved into the Sent folder.

I would review the contents of the Sent folder and see if you can identify which messages they are. Look for messages that show in the listing with bolder type or a blue dot next to them.

Once you identify them, clicking on them will allow you to read them of course, but also will remove the 'unread' markers. Once you do this for all of them, there will be no number listed next to your Sent folder.

If the messages are important, you will of course want to move them to an appropriate folder.

Usually there are numbers next to DRAFTS (if there are any) and certainly there are #s next to INBOX until I zero that out, but what are the SENT numbers representing? It isn’t all my SENT mails (because it is a small# that just started the other day) so what the heck is it and how do I make it go away?
