[Hidden-tech] Passing on a workaround to WordPress's latest nasty habit

Hopefully someone WordPress-savvy will have a more effective solution for your issue....

BUT... I just wanted to comment that I consider copying content to the clipboard, before posting it to a web page form, to be a very smart practice. I have been doing this for years, after being burned a few times (years and years ago).

AND.... When you have a clipboard management utility running on your system -- which I consider an essential utility -- you have a record of everything that you've copied to your clipboard (for as far back as you set it to retain).

ALSO.... another alternative solution would be to write your postings in a word processor..... or you could use (on a Mac obviously) Apple's Notepad, which saves frequently as you type. But my favorite solution is Evernote. Especially if you're crafting a blog, if you write all the postings in Evernote first, then you have a complete record of the blog in Evernote.
