Yet another example of why it's important to have backups (and preferably multiple backups, of different types). This feature you mention below isn¹t available, and neither is the restore through the Events page. And now, even Dropbox won¹t restore them for me because it was over 30 days ago. I use the Pro version but did not have the ³extended² version which allows them to fix files over the 30-day limit, and can¹t add that feature now because it¹s not retroactive. I can see the files, so close, yet so far away. My last hope is that the culprit will have saved his ³trash² and can restore. Thank you again for the help, it¹s appreciated!! j From: Jeff Brand [mailto:jeff at deltafactory.com] Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2015 11:17 AM To: Joan Long; 'Hidden Tech List' Subject: Re: [Hidden-tech] Dropbox Question - restoring >From within the web view of your Dropbox, right-click on the page and select "Show deleted files". You should be able to see those deleted files. Right click on the affected files/folders and choose "Restore..." If the files were deleted recently enough, it should provide details about the files it can restore. Best of luck.
