[Hidden-tech] Dropbox Question - restoring

Thanks all for the input. This feature you mention below isn't available,
and neither is the restore through the Events page. And now, even Dropbox
won't restore them for me because it was over 30 days ago. I use the Pro
version but did not have the "extended" version which allows them to fix
files over the 30-day limit, and can't add that feature now because it's not
retroactive.

I can see the files, so close, yet so far away. My last hope is that the
culprit will have saved his "trash" and can restore.

Thank you again for the help, it's appreciated!!

If the files were deleted recently enough, it should provide details about
the files it can restore.

Best of luck.

Hi HT gurus,

Had a user within my shared Dropbox file delete a TON of files, and the
"restore these files" option is not available through the Events page. I've
submitted the link through their help page, which is what they tell you to
do... Do you happen to know another trick or technique that would be faster
than waiting at their mercy until I get a response? In the meantime, I've
changed all the shared users to "view only"!.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Joan
