[Hidden-tech] monetizing Wordpress

At A Glance was added in WP 3.8. If it's not available, this implies 
pre-3.8. I'm surprised that WordPress.com is running 3.7.x (or earlier) 
though I imagine there are lots of customizations that they need to 
bring forward and test before rolling out a major new version.
