[Hidden-tech] Computer Crossroads- Do I buy a new laptop? Change to Macbook Air? Have one Custom built?

I always rule the MBAir out, because i require at least a 15", but i think
that's a great machine.  Long battery, light weight.  If you dont need the
disk drive.

My HDD died recently and i replaced with my first SSD and there were
massive speed improvements.  I also replaced my keyboard, which was only
$45.  Between the two, i am  very happy with my 4 year old thinkpad, and am
very happy that i didnt shell out for a 15" macbook pro, which was the
original plan.
