[Hidden-tech] Crazy GMail problem--can anyone help?

My main account got overloaded and GMail refused to collect messages. It
took me a couple of days to have a chance to flush out the mailbox on a
server, but this morning, I dumped 50,000 messages. Since then, GMail
hasn't tried that account. The error message says it hasn't pulled in the
mail since the 6th.

In the Settings page on GMail, the place that normally says "check mail
now" is covered up by the error message. How can I get GMail to collect the
mail again?
