[Hidden-tech] Converting Quark 8 files to InDesign CS6

Hi all,

Is it true that in order to convert Quark 8 files to InDesign CS6, I
would need to have about 4 versions of Quark available, to go back to
v4? Seems that's what I find in a Google search.

I own Quark 7 and 8, and I thought I remembered I could save from 8
back to 7, and then go to InDesign. Now, I can't seem to get that to
work.

This is such a rare event these days, I can't see buying a copy of
Markzware ID2Q for $199.
