A little more about open files... There are programs that we keep open all the time, but the changes aren't that frequent. For instance, I keep my client records in a Filemaker database that I always keep open, but it only gets updated maybe 5 or 6 times during the day. This is a very important database as you can imagine, but it would never be backed up with certain back up services. It turns out that the majority of services that I looked at now back up open files. Backblaze is one of the few that doesn't. I just signed up with SOS for 3 years, and it came out to $43 per year with unlimited storage. This was using the PC Mag discount link. It was a great deal.
