[Hidden-tech] Online backup for video production

A little more about open files...

There are programs that we keep open all the time, but the changes
aren't that frequent.
For instance, I keep my client records in a Filemaker database that I
always keep open,
but it only gets updated maybe 5 or 6 times during the day.

This is a very important database as you can imagine, but it would
never be backed up
with certain back up services. It turns out that the majority of
services that I looked at
now back up open files. Backblaze is one of the few that doesn't.

I just signed up with SOS for 3 years, and it came out to $43 per
year with unlimited storage.
This was using the PC Mag discount link. It was a great deal.
