The ones I have a clue about. I use Windows, so I apologize if it's not
the same on OS X.

3. On the folders, right- or option-click (or is it Command-click these
days?) and then choose "New Folder..." from the context menu. It's also
under the File menu --> New --> Folder.

5. Compose a new message and go to Save As.. --> Template. This should
create a Templates folder. Messages placed in there can be
double-clicked which will open up a new message with your template.

If you place samples of your Eudora templates in an IMAP folder (or send
clean versions to yourself) you should be able to clean them up and add
them to that template folder. There are details and suggestions of a
number of add-ons that you might like here,
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_FAQs_:_Using_Templates

6. There may be an easier way, but you can define different "Identities"
within a single account. This lets you change your name, email, and
associated signature within a single account. This can be reached from
the Account Settings (not the general Options.)
