I currently use Outlook 2007 for email (old habits). I use RT (from Best Practical Solutions, LLC. <http://www.bestpractical.com/>). RT integrates into Apache easily. *I* don't bother with secured site (I can't afford to get the certificate at this time), but there is nothing stopping you from using RT in a VirtualHost that has a SSL cert (eg <VirtualHost *:443>...</VirtualHost>). RT has an E-Mail interface: you can set up E-mail address(es) that pipe into RT and RT will create new or append to existing tickets. You will get the E-Mails and all of the ticket correspondence is collected in the database under the ticket. *Very* convientent and easy to use. You can pre-categorize tickets by mapping the E-Mail address(es) you use to different queues. (Another thing I use is Bugzilla, but that is mostly related to software bug tracking.) > > Charlie Heath > Town Websites > > > > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members > > -- Robert Heller -- 978-544-6933 / heller at deepsoft.com Deepwoods Software -- http://www.deepsoft.com/ () ascii ribbon campaign -- against html e-mail /\ www.asciiribbon.org -- against proprietary attachments
