WordPress 3.9 added HTML5 video support natively, so that might be able to do what you need. There's also JWPlayer - they produce a plugin for their player which has some branding at the free level. They make a lot of effort to support HTML5 playback with the Flash fallback. Any change to support iPads requires that your video files are converted to h264-encoded MP4 files, if they're not already. iPad also supports MOV/M4V files, but the MP4 format is also compatible with Android and lots of other hardware. If you're not familiar with command-line tools like ffmpeg, I highly suggest Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/). It's relatively easy to use and comes with presets for iPad video.
