[Hidden-tech] What happened to Dot Inc. in Hadley?

Yeah, that's the problem..the client doesn't think she has ftp access.  She
doesn't think she has the password / log on info, since she was paying Dot
Inc to take care of all that.  But I'm working with her to figure out if she
has that log on info tucked away somewhere!!  It seems likely she's got it
somewhere...

Do you or your client have ftp access to the server? If so you can move the
site to a new server. I am happy to walk you through your options if you
need more help than that. You can give me a call tomorrow late morning if

I have a new client whose existing website is hosted by and maintained by
Dot Inc., based in Hadley, MA.  For the past several months my client has
been unable to contact Dot Inc. - and I confirmed, their phone number is no
longer in service.

 

My client is now unable to access their website for maintenance.

 

Does anyone know what happened to Dot Inc.?  Where did they go?  Are they
out of business?   

 

And how does one get access to one's website if the host company no longer
exists?
