[Hidden-tech] new spam call technique?

1. do not bother asking to be taken off their list. It is an illegal call
and they will not respect any Do Not Call lists or requests.
2. your phone service provider may have tools to block the inundation of
illegal fraud calls. Check online or call customer support (I know, it is
painful)
3. There are other ways to slow, not entirely stop this. nomorobo.com
allows you to register if you have one of their currently listed providers
(like Verison FIOS VOIP and others) There are ways around this if your
provider is not in their list, like Ooma.
3. If the black hatsare clever enough to spoof your own number or a
neighbor's number (it has happened to me) then it is possible that no
robo-block can work. Call your senator and raise hell. If national
security agencies can log every damn call in the US, they can find the
illegal fraud callers.
