[Hidden-tech] Adobe Security Alert

Hi Lynne,

Adobe was seriously hacked recently. The hackers got names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, credit card #s. Changing your Adobe password is of course necessary, and any other accounts if you used the same password on another service. Of course, I wouldn't necessarily trust the links in any email that recommends changing a password.

The best piece of advice I've heard for avoiding trouble with stolen CC #s is to always use actual CCs and not debit cards, because replacing them and reversing fraudulent charges is easier and less damaging than a hit to your bank account.

Say, Rudié seems uncommon enough a name that I wonder if you are a relation of my friend Emma I met through dance while she was at UMass.

Do you do websites and logos? As a web developer, I have occasional need of a designer for client projects. I'm also very actively looking for work building and hosting websites, if you happen to need those services. :)

Greg

I tried calling their support number to get more information, but the wait time was more than 2 hours so I went to the web link and read the FAQ page about it. It's hard for me to tell exactly what happened or how serious it is.
