[Hidden-tech] Direct TV

We are not so happy with Direct TV.  If you don't watch sports, the service is overpriced.

We tried to switch to Dish, but for their satellites, our trees are in the way.  Almost every time after a power failure or we've been away for an extended time, we have trouble getting service back, and their technicians are hit or miss.

I'm not aware of any other service besides Direct TV and Dish - is there anyone else?

Andrew and Dan,

We've had Direct TV for over ten years, and are really happy with it.  If you do decide to go with it, and you want a customer referral from me, it would save you (and me) $100 off of your bill.  Send me an e-mail if you're interested.

Best,
