[Hidden-tech] Lacie drive issue

Thanks all. I probably should have mentioned that I don't care about 
the data, it's old anyway. I don't really have any specific attachment 
(pun unintended) to the drive either, I was just hoping to save $ by 
not having to purchase a replacement drive and make the $20 I just 
spent on a replacement power cord not for naught. I'll try the 
reformatting and if that doesn't work I'll probably just resell the 
power cord back on e-bay and get another drive (I think I can get 
something good enough for the purpose for under $30) and not waste 
time messing around with it.
